Trekking In
Nepal |
Walking through
different parts of Nepal is the best way to experience
the country’s unbeatable combination of natural beauty
and cultural riches. The massive contrasts in altitude
and climates support an equally spectacular variety of
lifestyles and flora and fauna. You will walk through
picturesque villages inhabited by diverse ethnic groups,
pristine forests of juniper and rhododendron, and
accompanying you throughout will be the icy pinnacles of
the Himalaya. There are two different ways to operate
the trekking in Nepal, one is “Camping Trekking” and the
other one is “Tea House Trek”. The tea house trek will
be operated to that destination where we can find the
tea houses along the trekking rout.
It seems the
teahouse trekking is more luxury and easy. The Camping
trekking is operated to that areas where there are not
lodges and no restaurant can be found, so why we have to
go with all necessary gears/equipments and all necessary
staffs such as Guide, Assistance Guide, Cook, Kitchen
assistance & porters. We will be spending over night
into tent and the cook will prepare food in no time.
Everest region, Annapurna region & Langtang reason are
most popular “Tea House trekking” regions. Camping
trekking can be operated anywhere in Nepal where
tourists interested t o visit, we have some camping
trekking areas which is already opened for trekking such
as Ganesh Himal, Manasalu, Panch Pokhari, Rolwaling,
Makalu, Kanchanjanga, Gorkha trek, Ganga Jamuna,
Mustang, Dolpa etc.
To trek in Nepal, you need to be reasonably fit, possess
a spirit of adventure and not be intimidated by the
prospect of having to walk. Adventure Glacier Treks &
Expedition takes care of all required arrangement like
government permits, air/bus tickets, guides, porters,
food, tents, and equipment. All you have to do on the
trail is to concentrate in putting one foot before the
other. On many popular trekking trails you can also trek
in that is known as "Tea House style" eating and staying
in the many lodges that line the trail instead of
camping in tents.
Trekking is possible at any time of the year depending
on the destination you choose. The most popular seasons
are February to May and September to November. Winter is
very cold above 4,000 m. and high mountain passes may
not be negotiable, but trekking at lower altitudes is
possible. During the rainy season from June to August,
there are possibilities of trekking in the pristine rain
shadow areas north of the Himalayas like Mustang and
Dolpo since these places are unaffected by the monsoon |
