The Everest trek is the most popular trekking in Nepal as itself a roof of the world (8848m.), the highest mountain in the world. Being explored the Buddhism and all those Buddhist creation such as Buddhist stupa, Mane (Monastry), prayer walls, prayer flags is one of the major goal of this trek. Of course, you are seeing the rich & magnificent panoramic views of several different mountains in solukhumbu region including Mt.Everest, Nuptse, Lothse, Amadablam and much many others.

This classic walk through the Sherpa country of Solu Khumbu is a tough trek with a clear-cut goal to see Mount Everest. The trekking can be started after 10 hours drive by local bus/private vehicle to Jiir (17,00.00 or take the airstrip at Lukla (2,800 m), the starting point of the trek, itself is an adventure. From Lukla you begin walking to the famous Sherpa village of Namche Bazaar and on to Tyangboche monastery with the mesmerizing Ama- Dablam as a backdrop. A trek over the glaciers to the foot of Everest, and you are in for the view of your lifetime. Although, this trek can be organize in several different itinerary , the Everest Besi Camp and Kalapathar or the Gokyo pass is most popular among trekkers. Normally, the Everest Besi Camp trek is for 14 days, 16 days if you include the Kalapathar and will be for 18 days if you combine Gokyo (Chola Pass) pass too. Above itineraries has set for flying out from Kathmandu to Lukla and fly back from Lukla to kathmandu. If you take bus trip to Jiri and trek up to above destination and fly to Kathmandu from Lukla, the trek will be 21,23 & 25 accordingly. The other option is driving to Jiri and trek up and return to Jiri and drive by bus to kathmandu is for 28 to 35 days, the trip is not very interesting as you have to trek back same way down from Lukla to Jiri but you can rather spend your pleasure time in mountain region rather then Kathmandu the most busiest city.The higest pass of this trek is 5,546m.at Kalapather.
